In the year 1978 ricardo Carreiro and his wife Mar\u00eda \u00c1lvarez recuperated what is today the first of the estates of Coto de Gomariz: Finca O Figueiral<\/strong>, where the first steps were taken to recuperating autochthonous varieties of the Ribeiro.<\/p>\nSince replanting in O Figueiral, Coto de Gomariz was born. <\/strong>. After they began the restauration of the other plots of old vines also property of the Carreiro family for generations, with the intention to start a winery.<\/p>\n\u201cO Figueiral\u201d is a 3Ha <\/strong> plot in Barro de Gomariz, neighbour to other vines in the family. For example Palomino and a hybrid: Garnacha Tintorera (Alicante Bouchet).<\/p>\n
